This looks better not too big. (say 9-12") My mom complained that one geisha has her kimono on the wrong side (the one with the hair pins). Typically kimonos are worn so that the longer collar is "left over right"...looks like a "y" when you look straight on. She didn't believe me when I said "oh that one looks correct from the back". Generally only worn in that orientation to funerals...
