This pattern is 1/8 of the feather circle.  The diameter of the circle is 50 inches when the pattern is 4 inches wide, 35 inches diameter when the pattern is 3 inches wide. The diameter of the circle is 25 inches wide when the pattern is 2 inches (individual feathers are about 1/2 inch wide, so this size gives a very dense circle border).

Do an array (7 at 45 degrees) to have the arcs of the circle rotated correctly.
