This pattern looks great in a block--you could add a frame to the block if you want--or place the pattern in a pieced circle.

This sphere is sized to 18 inches to allow you the flexibility to reduce down to the size you need. I have taken down as far as 4 inches. You may want to increase your stitches per inch. I generally stitch mine @ 14 to 16 for any Sphere 12 inches and smaller.
